Machine capability

The use of statistic methods is to pursue important characteristics of a production process, in order to be able to intervene before emergence of incorrect products.
With the software module machine capability investigation characteristic values (measured values) of the products manufactured on a machine are statistically determined. By these characteristic values easyCAQ the machine capability calculates. The coefficient (Cm) shows the ability in principle of the regarded machine. In practice frequently the critical machine ability coefficient (Cmk) is required. Here biased errors (deviations operating point of the desired value) of the machines with are considered.
The module machine capability investigation makes the graphic evaluation possible of the characteristic values in the form of original measured value map, histogram and probability net.
Generally applies: the more highly the mpk value is the better, is the machine in the layer the demanded tolerances to be kept.
Histogram
Representation divided by measured values in classes and/or intervals in a bar chart advantage: clear representation of large data sets, from histograms leave themselves kind of the distribution, the average value and dispersion derive disadvantage: relatively large data sets necessarily.
Quality rule map/rule map
Collection of (process) data in regular intervals and representation of the time-dependent process advantage: durable early warning system relative to the avoidance of errors (committee), regulating interference into the process possible, small expenditure disadvantage: regular data acquisition necessarily, not suitably for direct process improvement, only applicably with capable and controlled processes.
